[ENG] The work shows the flaying of a wounded clay mass of 28kg, which has been cut flat with a wire knife. The skinned clay was freely laid down in the processing and shaped itself. The red pigments also clearly represent how the soft clay was cut, wounded and torn in the flaying process. Each cut creates new and different wounds that dedicate the self to constant renewal, healing and trying.
Against the wall, the remaining skin leans quietly, still to be skinned. In the installation, the skins are placed in a circle, through this you can see that the process is carried out without a beginning or end. [KOR]
28kg의 상처난 점토 덩어리를 와이어 나이프로 평평히 자르는 과정을 반복한 작업이다. 잘라내진 점토는 자유롭게 놓아져 형태가 만들어진다. 붉은 안료를 이용해 상처나고 잘라지고 찢어진 상황도 보여진다.
상처를 내고 표면을 새로이 반복하여 잘라내는 과정과 설치 시 원으로 놓여진 이 작업은 시작과 끝이 없이 계속되는 새로워짐(시도, 치유, 회복)을 의미한다. [DEU]
Die Arbeit zeigt die Häutung einer Tonmasse von 28kg, die mit einem Drahtmesser flach geschnitten wurden ist. Der gehäutete Ton wurde in der Bearbeitung frei hingelegt und formt sich. Die roten Pigmente stellen zudem deutlich dar, wie der weiche Ton im Häutungsprozess geschnitten, verwundet und zerrissen wurde. Jeder Schnitt erzeugt neue und unterschiedliche Wunden, die dem Selbst eine ständige Erneuerung widmen.
An die Wand lehnt sich die übrig gebliebene Haut ruhig, um noch gehäutet zu werden. In der Installation werden die Häutchen im Kreis gelegt, dadurch erkennt man, dass der Prozess ohne einen Anfang oder Ende ausgeführt wird.
